PROJECT IN DEVELOPMENT / CHATCUT
Can ChatGPT edit a video?
That question sits at the centre of our tutorial and content development work with ChatCut. It gives the viewer something concrete to investigate and the video a clear direction.
A viewer arriving for the first time needs to understand what the tool is supposed to help them do, what the workflow looks like and what actually happens when it is used.
Our project includes a long-form tutorial and supporting content development around that experience.
The tutorial premise follows an editing task. The instruction, the editing process and the resulting output give the audience concrete things to inspect.
The questions guiding the content are straightforward: what can the viewer understand from the demonstration, what needs more explanation and where does the experience create friction?
For another product business, start with a task the audience recognises. Then decide which capability helps with that task and what the demonstration needs to show.
That gives the script a purpose and makes it easier to judge whether each part of the video helps the viewer understand the product.
This page documents the content direction while the project is in development.
We can work through the audience, the message and the formats that give your team a clear way to explain it.
